# Assign work to your crew

## Assigning

Add one or more people to a calendar entry. More than one person can be on the same entry, which is how a two-person job is booked.

## What the crew sees

Assigned people find their work in **My Jobs**, which shows only what is assigned to them. It is the view to point a crew at on site, because a full board is more than they need while standing in someone's driveway.

**My Jobs is a filter, not a permission.** It narrows what one person is looking at; it is not a wall around the rest of the workspace. What each role can and cannot see is set by their role, and that is covered in [what each role can see](/team-and-permissions/what-each-role-can-see).

## Visit links

The day before a booking, crew members are emailed a **visit link** for their work. It opens the job without a sign-in, which is what makes it usable for a subcontractor who does not live in the app.

Each entry sends its crew links once.
