# Choose a calendar view

## Four views

| View | Best for |
|---|---|
| **Month** | Seeing how full the next few weeks are |
| **Week** | The normal working view |
| **Day** | A busy day, hour by hour |
| **Agenda** | A plain list, quickest to scan on a phone |

**Keyboard shortcuts:** press `m`, `w`, `d` or `a` to switch.

## By employee

In the week and day views you can switch to **by employee**, which gives each person their own column. This is the view for spotting that one person has five jobs on Thursday and another has none.

## The map

The schedule also has a **map**, which shows the day's work as pins instead of rows. Use it to plan a route or to notice that two jobs on opposite sides of town are booked back to back.

**Your choice of by-employee and map sticks**, so the view you prefer is the one you get next time.
