Where it is
On the Pro plan, a sparkle button sits in the top bar. It opens the assistant panel anywhere in the app.
What it does
Ask it what an AI connected to your workspace should be able to answer: what is on the schedule this week, where a job sits on the board, who a customer is and what they owe.
It can also act, and this is the part that separates it from a chat window:
- Schedule work, and it books a real visit on the job, crew assigned, rather than hanging a loose event on your calendar.
- Prepare an estimate or invoice for you to review and send.
- Request a photo from the crew on a job.
Everything it does is on the record. An action the assistant performed appears in the job’s activity feed and says the assistant did it, the same way a teammate’s action names the teammate.
It remembers
Past conversations reopen from the panel, including what the assistant actually did in each one, so “what did I ask it to do on Tuesday” has an answer.
This is not the same as connecting your own AI
The assistant lives inside Crewfather and comes with Pro. Separately, you can point Claude, ChatGPT, Grok, or any MCP client you already pay for at your workspace with an API key you control. That works on every plan and is covered in connect the AI you already use.
